A prison inmate has commited suicide by hanging himself at Palayamkottai Central Prison on 03.03.2013. He was convicted for murdering his wife in 2006. He has no visitors from family although he has two young daughters and elderly parent. This scenario led him depression to frustration. Mental disturbance took away his life. As it was first day of GNE work in this central jail we paid homage to this departed inmate and today started work with most depressed prisoners.
